CRAIG BROWNRIGG
CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Craig grew up in suburban Vancouver as a card-carrying member of the KISS Army. In high school his family left Vancouver and moved to the natural beauty of Toronto, Ontario. There, Craig failed math often. And, as his mother used to say, “Thank God he can draw at least”. As an artist and musician Craig made the only logical choice and went to the University of Guelph to study Commerce. After struggling through more math, he finally graduated and enrolled at George Brown College’s Advertising and Design program.

When Craig’s first career as a ‘lobby boy’ at Arby’s failed, and with no other prospects on the horizon, he turned to a life of creative advertising. Working at some of Canada’s top creative agencies, including Gee Jeffery and Partners, Ammariti Puris, Zig, and GRIP, Craig won numerous local and international awards including Communication Arts, Andy International, British DA&D and a Cannes Gold Lion. He has worked on ‘everything and some things twice’ - such as Labatt, Bell, Toyota, Sony, Jaguar, Bank of Montreal, Clarica and Honda. In his spare time Craig enjoys playing guitar and drums and piano, stubbing his toe, making fun of mimes and golfing.
