Lynn Longwill has two horses. One in Fergus, and another one in Texas. But she doesn’t always say this last bit, especially when she tours with the Dixie Chicks. When she isn’t riding horses and winning medals on something called the “hunter/jumper circuit”, Lynn is leading brand strategy and marketing communications planning. Which she has been doing for more than 20 years on such brands as Amercan Express – she led the launch of Gold Card in Canada, Teachers Credit Union, Williams Coffee Pubs, Melitta Coffee, ClimateCare Co-op, The Discovery Channel, AIC, Sobeys, Compliment Private Label, Firkin Group of Pubs and a list longer than the leg of a horse.
Agencies that have benefited from Lynn’s uncanny ability to unearth great insights that have led to successful campaigns include Grey, JAN Kelley and JWT. Now she can include PLAY in that line-up. Which we’re really excited about. As long as we don’t have a “bring your horse to work” day.
