PLAY HELPS LAUNCH NEW ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Canadian Tire Financial chose PLAY to help test and launch an innovative new roadside assistance service. Called Roadside On Request, it is positioned as roadside assistance for people who don’t like paying for it. Clients pay just $1.99 per month plus tax and only pay a flat rate of $39.95 if they need roadside assistance. “From idea to brand development to brand launch was a matter of six weeks," says PLAY president Brian Torsney. "It shows how nimble, creative and efficient our team can be."

Along with juggling, drumming in a rock band and coming up with great ads, another of Craig's many talents is his ability to direct truly entertaining tv commercials. Last year he directed some very clever TV ads for Toro Magazine which were short-listed at Cannes from thousands of ads from around the world. Earlier in the year, the same ads won two Marketing Gold Awards and a Certificate in Canada. Congratulations Brownrigg!

Dundas Valley Golf ClubPLAY HELPS RENAISSANCE OF CANADIAN CLASSIC

PLAY has repositioned and re-launched Dundas Valley Golf Club a 75 year-old private club nestled into the Niagara Escarpment at the west end of Lake Ontario. The club is undergoing a $9 million renaissance. PLAY developed the campaign using a combination of newspaper and business magazine advertising and direct marketing to business owners in a 30 mile radius around the club. The campaign is generating hundreds of inquiries each week and helping the club sign new members.

PLAY founder and President Brian Torsney has been chosen to join the board of Burlington's Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation. "I hope to bring my brand building experience to help the hospital secure the funding it needs to serve a growing community", says Torsney who grew up in Burlington, which is also home for PLAY's head office.
